European collaboration with media start-ups within STADIEM project

The STADIEM project is working on a piloting and acceleration programme to bring together start-ups, scale-ups, investors and media organisations, and foster the development of Next Generation Media solutions. Within the European H2020 project, participating start-ups have access to, among other things, regional and local knowledge (including market and consumer specifics), available financing and scaling opportunities, as well as venture capital and corporate networks.

The story of EDUbox: how innovation can turn an idea into an educational platform

Over the past year, EDUbox has gained its place in the educational landscape as a medium that introduces young people to a particular societal theme. Each EDUbox is created in cooperation with partners who deploy their expertise around a particular theme. The creation and growth of the concept itself is also a story of collaboration, both with external partners and with various VRT colleagues.

VRT and EDI launch new big data challenges for startups and SMEs

The European project EDI and VRT launch for the third consecutive year new challenges. EDI is a fund of 5 million euros in total to help grow data economy throughout Europe. The 8 months lasting program already hosted 80 startups and SMEs that received growing opportunities and gave them a chance to receive financing up to 100,000 euros as well.
