Woopi

Woopi is a game experience for children whereby physical objects are also complemented digitally.

The WOOPI-project wanted to offer young children (ages 4-6 years old) an interactive multiplatform media experience with physical, interchangeable, personalized cards and toys. Apart from that, the project wanted to encourage own manufacture. Woopi also focused on involving parents and teachers in the game experience.

From the gaming concepts, the robot OYO has been selected and worked out. OYO is an interactive robot that reacts to playing cards and is able to play memory and guessing games. OYO has been successfully tested with children both at home as in the classroom.
